Quite often you find these below specified status whenever you reserve your ticket.These status get changed from one to another. For example if your ticket status is RLGN at the time of booking, and as the days are passing on, it may change to Waiting List.
|CAN/MOD||Canceled or Modified Passenger||You find this status when you cancel train tickets or remove a passenger from your status|
|CNF||Confirmed||Your ticket is confirmed and you are allowed to travel.|
|RAC||Reservation Against Cancellation||An RAC ticket gets you on the train and in your chosen class, but there’s a chance you could end up with just a seat instead of a berth.|

|PQWL||Pooled Quota Wait List||A passenger who travels from an intermediate station of a train to another intermediate station of that train will get PQWL wait list.The chance of getting this ticket confirmed is very less. This type of tickets will be confirmed only after confirming other waiting list tickets which usually does not happen in most of the cases.|
|RLWL||Remote Location Wait List||RLWL means Ticket is issued for intermediate stations (between the originating and terminating stations). This type of tickets will be given a separate priority and confirmations will depend on the cancellations of a destination confirmed ticket,there are less chances of confirmation.|
|REGRET||Stopped||No More Booking is allowed in that train.|
|RELEASED||Ticket Not Cancelled but Alternative Accommodation Provided|
|RLGN||Remote Location General Wait List||RLGN ticket will be issued for an intermediate station (which is not the originating station for the train) to destination/nearby destination station. It will come under general wait list which have more chances of confirmation. If someone from that place cancels the ticket you will get confirmed i.e this type of tickets will have RAC Provision.|
|RQWL||Request Wait List||If a ticket is to be booked from an intermediate station to another intermediate station, and if it is not covered by the general quota or by the remote location quotas or pooled quota, the request for the ticket may go into a RQWL.|
|LDWL||Ladies Quota Wait List||This is the waiting list ticket against ladies seat reservation.|
|CKWL||Tatkal Quota Wait List||This is the waiting list for tatkal tickets. Your ticket gets confirmed only if some persons who booked tatkal ticket cancels. when the waiting list moves up you can expect confirmed berth.|
|HO||Head quarters/high official Quota||HO/Emergency quota seats are used by high officials or the people who have some emergency travel.If those seats not utilized then those will be released to clear wl/rac passengers at the time of chart preparation.|
|DF||Defence Quota||Reserved for defence officials|
|PH||Parliament House Quota||Includes ministers and high bureaucrats as well as members of parliament and their staff|
