Western Railway has been credited with the introduction of first ever electric train that connected Churchgate to Borivali. Ajmer and Jaipur divisions were earlier parts of the Western Railway Zone; however they were later merged with North Western Railway. Similarly Kota division of Western Railway was later merged with the West Central Railway.

(2) Keep your PNR number handy. The PNR number is a 10 digit number located on left side of ticket
(3) You should quote this PNR number and insert it in the empty fields for checking the status of your ticket.
(4) After inserting the correct PNR number, you can click on GET PNR status button located below the query box.
